CODING

Students in grades K-4 will finish off the year learning code.  If you are not familiar with what code is, you can visit Code.org to check this out.  The link is under my favorite links to the right.

Kindergarten & First Grade have been busy with a recent trip to the San Diego Zoo in California, followed up by a trip to New York to visit the Museum of Modern Art.

Grade 2 has been having fun with symmetry.  We have explored several activities and sites where students can learn about symmetry and explore it's features.

Students in second grade are being introduced to their Google accounts.  This week they simply begin learning how to log in and out!  The first feature that will be introduced to them is Google Draw. After learning to navigate the program, we will do a drawing project using a story book!
