Students in second grade are being introduced to their Google accounts.  This week they simply begin learning how to log in and out!  The first feature that will be introduced to them is Google Draw. After learning to navigate the program, we will do a drawing project using a story book!
Students in Grade 1 are also working in the essential skills program.   They are focusing on word families and short and long vowel sounds.
Kindergarten students are beginning the new year working with "Crayon Words"in a program called Essential Skills.  This program takes the commonly used crayon colors and puts them into games and activities to help them learn the words, their spelling, and how to use them in their education.
Children in grades 3 & 4 are learning a computer coding program called Logo Paths.  Once they learn to use the program on the computer, they will begin applying math concepts that will teach missing measures, and calculating perimeter.  This is all part of their Math Investigations unit they are working on in their classroom.
